C-Face Style Motors
A “C–Face” motor is a common American mechanical standard. Designed with a rugged flange on the face of the motor for mounting purposes. The weight of the motor is supported by the flange. Most commonly attached to a gearbox. The flange is strong enough to cantilever the motor.
The NEMA C-Face mount incorporates a machined-face flange and a pilot on the end of the shaft to allow direct coupling with equipment. Bolts pass from the mounting face through threaded holes in the motor.
