Installation Instructions
Do not attempt to screw the Bremas switch handle into the mounting shaft of the Bremas control box without following these steps. You will damage the Bremas switch handle.
Step 1: Remove the mounting screw from the Bremas switch handle before installing on drum switch.
Step 2: Install the Bremas switch handle on the Bremas drum switch mounting shaft. The handle should be flush to the face of the control box. If the handle will not fit flush, slightly bend the expansion tabs to fit flush on the drum switch.
Step 2: Insert the mounting screw into the mounting hole on the Bremas switch handle.
Step 3: Tighten the mounting screw. Be careful not to overtighten the screw.
Step 4: Operate the switch back and forth to test the handle is secured to the control box.

Exact replacement. However, the screw in the handle must be removed completely before snapind handle into place, then insert screw to expand the retainer ring to secure the handle. Instructions would be helpful.
I have not received it yet

Perfect replacement but way too expensive. Poor original design as the attachment method is not secure

Design of hoe the handle attaches is odd and not very good in my opinion. A more traditional screw tightening onto hub would be more secure. This design does work, but if the handle comes off, it may not go back on again.

Purchased 3 handles. All have come off and are at bottom of lake. Bad design. Is there a fix ???

It is a red handle. Not that impressive too review. You grab it hold it and move it left or right. Since I have one now and did not earlier.bit works great. So great product.

It's a pretty part but the wrong one, my unit needs a square to fit and this is round and also it's too small in diameter, I called today (Sat.) so I will call again Monday and see if we can figure out which handle I need. Thank you

Still waiting to see if this is gonna work.

Exactly what I needed to replace the one that fell in the lake. Glad I could find just the handle.

The replacement handle has a shoulder inside that is to shallow to allow the switch shaft to seat fully.

This handle is attached to the switch with an expansion device. It comes from the factory attached, but two weeks after installing it, it fell off when I turned it and fell into the water. Mounting screw should screw into something, not just an expansion fitting. I also am offended that a replacement is $15.99. Should be about $3.00.

poor way to attach handle to switch

Fit perfect as it should as it was not an inexpensive item.
