Aluminum Pontoon V Bracket Backup Plate
The Aluminum Pontoon V Bracket Backup Plate allows (2) wooden cradle bunks to be mounted in a “v” shaped pattern. Made from marine-grade 601-T6 US aluminum. The backup plate fits on the backside of a cradle beam. The top bracket sits on top of the cradle beam. Use carriage bolts to clamp onto the cradle beam. The 6 in. – 8 in. backplate option fits 6 in. – 8 in. long cradle beam with a 4 in. – 5 in. cradle beam flange. The 10 in. option fits 10 in. long cradle beams with a 6 in. flange. Pontoon Instructions
You will need 4 brackets. Install the bracket using carriage bolts and a backplate that secures the bracket around the aluminum cradle beam.
Tritoon Instructions
You will need 6 brackets. Install the bracket using carriage bolts and a backplate that secures the bracket around the aluminum cradle beam.
This is the idea mate for the V Top Bunk brackets; not sure why they're not sold in a set or offered accordingly. No matter, this was just what I needed to attach the V brackets to my boat lift bunks.
